March 1 – Port Gibbon

We packed up – surprisingly early – and got going. As we left we were behind a NSW caravan at the boom gate – Coffs Harbour on the branding in fact as got closer – Aim said hello to the them – from Emerald Beach (would you believe) and they said in the last two days they had spoken to three families from Coffs Harbour…..small world.

We took a coastal drive stopping in everywhere along the coast – no rush and we ended up at the “end of the road” at Port Gibbon and pulled in to the ‘main’ campground. It was windy so we opted for a sheltered site and it was pretty nice. We expected more caravaners to pull in to shelter from the wind…but no one.

Amazing sunset.
